Former Unilever CEO Paul Polman is interviewed by Sally Uren on the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP), launched in 2010. With USLP, the multinational was one of the first companies using a business model that engages in far-reaching commitments to sustainability, meanwhile having bold growth targets. For example, Unilever wants to use raw materials that come from 100 % renewable sources by 2020. Polman says that Unilever want to prove with this business model that 'doing well by doing good' can work.
